Privacy Policy
BhajanUSA is a free devotional website. We do not ask you to sign up, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across the web. This page explains the little we do collect and why.
What we collect
- Page counts. Each visit to the site and each bhajan page adds one to a counter stored with our host, Cloudflare. The counter stores only a number. It does not store your IP address, device or location.
- Your reading preference. When you choose हिन्दी, Roman or Both, and when you change the text size, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.
- Your favourites. Tapping ☆ on a bhajan saves its title to your own browser's local storage, the same way as your reading preference — no account, never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Bhajan submissions. If you use the Submit a Bhajan form, the text you type and the e-mail address you give are sent to the site owner by e-mail so we can review the bhajan and reply to you. Submissions can be reviewed by a person or AI automatically, and based on the review it is published or not published.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the site and the visit counters. Like any web host it sees the technical details of your request in order to deliver the page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
- Google Fonts supplies the Devanagari and Latin typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google's servers when a page loads.
- Resend delivers submission e-mails from the form to the site owner.
Children
The site is suitable for all ages, with parents' guidance, and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can read every page without giving us anything. To forget your reading preference, clear site data for bhajanusa.com in your browser. To have a submission deleted, use the contact form and we will remove it.
Content and copyright
Bhajans, aartiyaan and mantras are traditional devotional compositions. The Devanagari typing, English transliteration and summaries on this site were prepared by BhajanUSA. You are welcome to sing, print and share them for personal and community worship. Please keep the BhajanUSA name and web address on copies.
Contact
Questions about this policy or about a bhajan: use the contact form. We don't publish an e-mail address on the site — the form is the only way to reach us.
Changes
If we ever add a feature that changes what is collected, we will update this page.
